Waikiki, O’ahu. The historic Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand, located at 134 Kapahulu Ave, 2nd Floor, Waikiki Grand Hotel (across from the Honolulu Zoo) in Waikiki is hosting a Welcoming Party for the 2008 Honolulu Marathoners on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 9pm into the evening. The evening event will raise much needed funds for two worthy HIV/AIDS organizations, Gregory House Programs of Honolulu and visiting guest agency AIDS Foundation Chicago of Chicago Illinois.

Hula’s own Talon will be raffling off prizes. Raffles include a wide range of items all donated from local and mainland businesses. Included in the raffle is a high end gift certificate for a week’s stay at Kalani Oceanside Retreat Village on the Big Island, as well as other miscellaneous high end items.

Everyone who buys a raffle ticket gets a free 20th year (2008) anniversary commemorative red armband courtesy of Gregory House Programs.

The evening includes Jello Shots provided by SexySexy Hula’s Servers, Entertainment by the Almost Naked 808 GoGo Boyz, and Live Djs all Nite long! Also included in the evening’s festivities is Hula’s FULL MOON PARTY - if you are a Sagittarius, you get FREE COVER AND A FREE DRINK! Hula's also has a whole array of tasty non-alcoholic beverages; sodas, juices, virgin drinks, energy drinks, non-alcoholic beer, and more!

100% of proceeds from raffles and jello shots to Gregory House Programs and AIDS Foundation of Chicago. The evening will include an acknowledgement of Gregory House Programs and the AIDS Project of Chicago.

Additional activities over the Marathon weekend includes Sunday, December 14, 2008, Hula’s will host a Honolulu Marathon AFTERPARTY 9pm– get FREE COVER and HAPPY HOUR PRICES ALL NIGHT if you bring in your running # or wear your Honolulu Marathon Finisher shirt.
